DESBORDADAS | Social Project

Desbordadas is a social project led by women to raise awareness about the "good girl syndrome," where women are victims of oppression. The title plays on the idea of overflowing (desbordar), symbolizing breaking free from societal constraints, and embroidery (bordar), a historically female role that reflects traditional, restrictive expectations. Our goal is to uncover the syndrome’s roots, understand how it manifests, and explore its impact on women’s development, while encouraging women to break free from self-destructive behaviors.
